Cath Kidston has always been a favourite quintessentially British brand that brings out memories of Sunday roasts, country cottages and hedgerow walks. From their keyrings to kitchen aprons they are a brand that reminds you of home, comfort and baking with Mum and have long been the go-to place to find the perfect heart-warming gift for a loved one and they endlessly supply wardrobe and accessory staples. The collection is named after their London HQ on Freston Road in Notting Hill which is why the incorporation of their old school, cowboy and cactus characters are so fitting with the tongue-in-cheek campaign imagery depicting the wild West of London. The pretty scallop design of the print both continues the Cath legacy of feminine pattern and sets a tone for the future of Cath Kidston with it’s modern, chic look, whilst the addition of kitsch cowboy imagery makes it a downplayed statement piece that adds character to practicality.
